I set up Hatmill in 2009 to provide clients with hands on practical help with their supply chain problems. I previously led PwC’s logistics consulting practice and gained my industry experience at Asda Wal*Mart.
I was one of the first members of the early Hatmill team in 2013 delivering supply chain solutions across a range of industry sectors. My 10+ years’ of industry experience began at Wincanton on their logistics graduate scheme and more recently focussed on E-commerce fulfilment operations for the Amethyst Group.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after gaining over 17 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics for both Asda and Morrisons supermarkets.
My ambition has always been to work within the consultancy environment, where I can grow my “breadth” rather than “depth” of knowledge across multiple organisations and industries.
I first began working with the Hatmill team in August 2015. I’ve over twenty five years’ experience as a business management consultant, 20 of these as a partner in PWC’s consultancy practice. I combine top level skills in supply chain management and finance and have a proven track record of leading successful business improvement programmes
I joined Hatmill in early 2014 after previously working in process improvement and as a logistics operations manager. One of the attractions of my role is that it allows me to engage with our clients to provide tailored solutions that deliver results, rather than an ‘off the shelf’ approach.
I joined Hatmill in 2018. Starting my career in logistics with the Morrisons Graduate Scheme, I gained a working knowledge of end to end logistics at one of the big four UK supermarkets. My roles since, both operational and strategic, have built experience of not just planning and implementing change but also the affect this has upon operations. The latter continues to inform my decision making process.
I joined the Hatmill team in April 2018. I have over 15 years experience of improving organisation’s Planning Spines (Product Planning, Demand Planning and Supply Planning & Scheduling).
I joined Hatmill following on from 5 years of working for XPO Logistics.
I joined XPO Logistics on their fast track Transport and Logistics Graduate Scheme after gaining a BSc in Economics with Econometrics from the University of Kent.
I joined Hatmill in 2016 after 4 years working for DHL Supply Chain. I joined the DHL Graduate Scheme after completing a Law and Business degree from the University of Warwick.
I joined Hatmill after 8 years’ experience across supply chain within manufacturing, retail, supplier management and events logistics sectors. I was drawn to work for Hatmill as they presented the chance to work on significant change projects.
I joined Hatmill in July 2017, after 6 years working for DHL Supply Chain.
I was accepted onto the DHL Graduate Scheme in 2011 after gaining a BA in Economics from The University of Sheffield.
I started my journey with Hatmill in October 2015. Having studied for a degree in Business Management at Leeds University my in course placement was at ASDA House as a supply chain analyst which provided me with my first experience in retail management.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after 4 years split between two of the big four UK supermarkets both In House and on a 3PL contract. My industry experience began on the Logistics Graduate Scheme for Morrisons. The 15-month scheme comprised placements across, Ambient, Chill, Transport, Retail and Projects. My key achievements were:
I joined Hatmill after working for the grocery retailer Morrisons in distribution. I chose to make the move into consultancy as I wanted to extend my knowledge of both Supply Chain and Logistics functions across multiple business sectors.
I first starting working with Hatmill in 2012, after setting up my Virtual Assistance business in 2009. My background has predominantly been working for large corporate IT and recruitment businesses in management, recruitment and operational roles.
I joined Hatmill in July 2018 after 10 years working for the German discount retailer, Lidl. I felt Hatmill offered me the platform from which to deliver high profile projects to a large range of clients, as well as offering me a great opportunity to really broaden my knowledge within the logistics and supply chain industry.
I knew Simon prior to becoming a member of the Hatmill team. I bring with me nearly 30 years’ experience gained in a high volume distribution business, Andrew Page Ltd, where I led IT and business systems, the last 10 years of which I was on the board.
I have known Simon for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed working with him previously. I have over 15 years’ experience in the retail industry in the UK.
After a short spell working alongside the team in a professional capacity during 2013 I officially joined the team. In 2001 I graduated from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and have since worked within the sector in a variety of roles.
I joined Hatmill at a point when the company had grown rapidly and it recognised its financial procedures and systems were becoming outdated. My immediate challenge was to migrate manual and excel based systems onto a Cloud Based Accounting Package that simplified and coordinated the efforts of a dispersed team.
I work with Hatmill to help clients address their procurement challenges. I have over fifteen years of procurement experience in retail, financial services and consulting. I started my career as a Supply Chain Manager with The Boots Company. I held a number of positions across the organization
I became a Hatmill associate in early 2016 to complement my independent consultancy work, having run my own business since 1998. Working with Hatmill gives me the opportunity to work on projects where a larger, multi-disciplinary team of experts is required by the client.
I’m Ben Alba and I joined Hatmill at the beginning of 2016 having worked previously in the fashion retail sector.
I started my career on the graduate scheme at Next working in the merchandising function across a number of product categories.
I have over 30 years of experience working within the Logistics Automation sector, initially working for the major system integrators, I became an independent consultant 11 years ago.
I have worked on numerous projects ranging from simple mechanised systems through to highly complex, fully automated sites.
I joined the Hatmill associate team in 2017, having consulted independently since 2002. I was previously part of the supply chain consulting teams at Deloitte and Accenture. I specialise in logistics – with projects covering everything from strategy, transport and warehousing solution design, automation, outsourcing, through to optimisation of existing operations.
I have worked with Hatmill over a period of years, rejoining the team in 2018. During my 20+ year career I have worked in end to end supply chain management in industries including manufacturing, builders merchanting, retail, FMCG, third-party logistics and management consulting. My time working as a consultant for PwC was pivotal in my career evolving into project management and I have worked as a contractor since 2009.
I joined Hatmill at the start of 2019 after over 15 years experience working in sales and supply chain roles for Mars UK and Molson Coors Brewing Company. I specialise in business management, sales and operational planning and unlocking value through synergies in the supply chain.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many iconic food and drink brands, but my ambition has long been to work in the consultancy environment.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 following over 10 years’ experience in transport and logistics, including time as a Transformation Programme Manager at Arriva, a major public transport operator.
I started my career at XPO Logistics on their Fast Track Talent Programme after gaining a degree in Business Studies at De Montfort University.
I joined Hatmill in 2018 soon after finishing university. I attained a 1st-Class degree in Mathematics and have since begun applying my analytical skills to a variety functional problems. I spent many years working in an Asda superstore giving me a functional understanding how of an FMCG business runs at ground level.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 after returning to the UK, having spent the previous five years working for the largest waste equipment provider in North America.
My last role was Director of Operations (Manufacturing) for Wastequip, who manufacture plastic and steel equipment. I had P&L ownership of all North America facilities and North America service unit.
