I set up Hatmill in 2009 to provide clients with hands on practical help with their supply chain problems. I previously led PwC’s logistics consulting practice and gained my industry experience at Asda Wal*Mart.
I joined Hatmill in 2013 following over 10 years’ experience of supply chain across multiple sectors including multi-channel retail, manufacturing and grocery. The opportunity to join a fresh and dynamic consulting business was too good to turn down and has allowed me to focus on delivering supply chain solutions for a broad spectrum of clients.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after gaining over 17 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics for both Asda and Morrisons supermarkets.
My ambition has always been to work within the consultancy environment, where I can grow my “breadth” rather than “depth” of knowledge across multiple organisations and industries.
I first began working with the Hatmill team in August 2015. I’ve over twenty five years’ experience as a business management consultant, 20 of these as a partner in PWC’s consultancy practice. I combine top level skills in supply chain management and finance and have a proven track record of leading successful business improvement programmes
I joined Hatmill in 2018. Starting my career in logistics with the Morrisons Graduate Scheme, I gained a working knowledge of end to end logistics at one of the big four UK supermarkets. My roles since, both operational and strategic, have built experience of not just planning and implementing change but also the affect this has upon operations. The latter continues to inform my decision making process.
I joined Hatmill following on from 5 years of working for XPO Logistics.
I joined XPO Logistics on their fast track Transport and Logistics Graduate Scheme after gaining a BSc in Economics with Econometrics from the University of Kent.
I joined Hatmill in June 2016, having spent the previous eight years working in the UK grocery sector. Working predominantly in supply chain, my first experience of the sector came whilst at CPM.
I have over fifteen years’ experience in logistics and supply chain within manufacturing, retail, supplier management and events logistics. My experience comprises operational experience in the 3PL sector and logistics and supply chain experience in a FTSE retailer environment.
I have worked and studied in the field of transport and logistics for nearly 20 years, initially in an operational environment and most recently as an independent consultant.
I started my journey with Hatmill in October 2015. Having studied for a degree in Business Management at Leeds University my in course placement was at ASDA House as a supply chain analyst which provided me with my first experience in retail management.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after 4 years split between two of the big four UK supermarkets both In House and on a 3PL contract. My industry experience began on the Logistics Graduate Scheme for Morrisons. The 15-month scheme comprised placements across, Ambient, Chill, Transport, Retail and Projects. My key achievements were:
I first starting working with Hatmill in 2012, after setting up my Virtual Assistance business in 2009. My background has predominantly been working for large corporate IT and recruitment businesses in management, recruitment and operational roles.
I joined Hatmill in July 2018 after 10 years working for the German discount retailer, Lidl. I felt Hatmill offered me the platform from which to deliver high profile projects to a large range of clients, as well as offering me a great opportunity to really broaden my knowledge within the logistics and supply chain industry.
I knew Simon prior to becoming a member of the Hatmill team. I bring with me nearly 30 years’ experience gained in a high volume distribution business, Andrew Page Ltd, where I led IT and business systems, the last 10 years of which I was on the board.
After a short spell working alongside the team in a professional capacity during 2013 I officially joined the team. In 2001 I graduated from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and have since worked within the sector in a variety of roles.
I joined Hatmill at a point when the company had grown rapidly and it recognised its financial procedures and systems were becoming outdated. My immediate challenge was to migrate manual and excel based systems onto a Cloud Based Accounting Package that simplified and coordinated the efforts of a dispersed team.
I joined the Hatmill associate team in 2017, having consulted independently since 2002. I was previously part of the supply chain consulting teams at Deloitte and Accenture. I specialise in logistics – with projects covering everything from strategy, transport and warehousing solution design, automation, outsourcing, through to optimisation of existing operations.
I have worked with Hatmill over a period of years, rejoining the team in 2018. During my 20+ year career I have worked in end to end supply chain management in industries including manufacturing, builders merchanting, retail, FMCG, third-party logistics and management consulting. My time working as a consultant for PwC was pivotal in my career evolving into project management and I have worked as a contractor since 2009.
I joined Hatmill at the start of 2019. I have over fifteen years’ experience across the end to end customer supply chain and have worked in operational roles at Global FMCG businesses such as Mars UK & Molson Coors Brewing Company.
I specialise in business management, sales & operational planning, customer logistics and unlocking value through synergies in the supply chain.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 following over 10 years’ experience in transport and logistics, including time as a Transformation Programme Manager at Arriva, a major public transport operator.
I started my career at XPO Logistics on their Fast Track Talent Programme after gaining a degree in Business Studies at De Montfort University.
I have been working for Hatmill since 2018. I joined soon after graduating university where I attained a 1st-class degree in Mathematics. Since joining, my focus has predominantly been around systems development, modelling and general data analysis.
Over the course of my degree I spent time studying many different branches of mathematics, focussing mainly on the purer topics.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 after returning to the UK, having spent the previous five years working for the largest waste equipment provider in North America.
My last role was Director of Operations (Manufacturing) for Wastequip, who manufacture plastic and steel equipment. I had P&L ownership of all North America facilities and North America service unit.
I joined Hatmill in April 2020, following 14 years’ prior experience working in a supply chain capacity across the retail and distribution sectors.
My supply chain career started at Honeywell CPG, whilst on work placement in the 3rd year of my degree in business. On completion of my studies, I joined Premier Farnell as an Asset Specialist but quickly moved into supporting projects and initiatives to improve service levels and inventory performance.
I’ve worked in warehouse automation for over 15 years and support clients with the design and delivery of automated warehousing. I have worked in both the supplier and client space which means I have a good understanding of the technicalities to automation project design and delivery.
I joined Hatmill from John Lewis & Partners, where I was responsible for the transformation of their supply chain network, moving from a series of legacy distribution centres to a modern, consolidated network. I assist clients with their supply chain strategy and also help them understand the impact of automation on the wider business and how operations need to adjust, to deliver the best ROI.
I joined Hatmill in January 2020 after gaining over 10 years experience in automation. Five of the years were within the area of logistics predominantly looking after projects on behalf of Asda.
My career started with numerous engineering design-based roles and I completed a graduate training scheme with a large telecoms company. I then moved into the field of automation, designing bespoke systems to perform lab-based tests of pharmaceutical products, mainly asthma inhalers.
I have been an employee at Hatmill since the beginning of 2020. Prior to joining, I worked as a business consultant for a small company in Leeds, implementing, embedding and managing continuous improvement projects. This experience, combined with my engineering background, gives me the ability to quickly understand and develop innovative solutions for clients.
