I set up Hatmill in 2009 to provide clients with hands on practical help with their supply chain problems. I previously led PwC’s logistics consulting practice and gained my industry experience at Asda Wal*Mart.
I joined Hatmill in 2013 following over 10 years’ experience of supply chain across multiple sectors including multi-channel retail, manufacturing and grocery. The opportunity to join a fresh and dynamic consulting business was too good to turn down and has allowed me to focus on delivering supply chain solutions for a broad spectrum of clients.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after gaining over 17 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics for both Asda and Morrisons supermarkets.
My ambition has always been to work within the consultancy environment, where I can grow my “breadth” rather than “depth” of knowledge across multiple organisations and industries.
I first began working with the Hatmill team in August 2015. I’ve over twenty five years’ experience as a business management consultant, 20 of these as a partner in PWC’s consultancy practice. I combine top level skills in supply chain management and finance and have a proven track record of leading successful business improvement programmes
I joined Hatmill in 2018. Starting my career in logistics with the Morrisons Graduate Scheme, I gained a working knowledge of end to end logistics at one of the big four UK supermarkets. My roles since, both operational and strategic, have built experience of not just planning and implementing change but also the affect this has upon operations. The latter continues to inform my decision making process.
I joined Hatmill in 2015 following on from 5 years of working for XPO Logistics, including the completion of their graduate programme. During this time I held several positions within the business across operational and strategic roles, both in transport and logistics.
I joined Hatmill in June 2016, having spent the previous eight years working in the UK grocery sector. Working predominantly in supply chain, my first experience of the sector came whilst at CPM.
I have over fifteen years’ experience in logistics and supply chain within manufacturing, retail, supplier management and events logistics. My experience comprises operational experience in the 3PL sector and logistics and supply chain experience in a FTSE retailer environment.
I have worked and studied in the field of transport and logistics for nearly 20 years, initially in an operational environment and most recently as an independent consultant.
Mark joined Hatmill in 2017 after 6 years working in a variety of roles across multiple sectors at DHL Supply Chain. His experience from his time there includes 2 JDA Red Prairie WMS implementations, 3 site fit-out and go live projects, management of a multi-site operation, and designing process resulting in ISO9001 and OSHAS18001 accreditation.
Prior to joining Hatmill I worked for both Morrisons and ASDA within their supply chain functions.
With this gaining in-depth knowledge of their supply chain and logistics functions and in particular their forecast and replenishment system.
Since joining Hatmill, I have worked on projects across supply chain and logistics working in both the private and public sector.
I joined Hatmill in 2017 after 4 years’ of supply chain experience with Morrisons and latterly Wincanton. I started on Morrisons logistics graduate scheme with placements in ambient and fresh warehouses, transport, retail and central projects. This experience; gained across multiple UK sites was invaluable and gave me a broad end-to-end view of the challenges in a time-critical supply chain.
I first starting working with Hatmill in 2012, after setting up my Virtual Assistance business in 2009. My background has predominantly been working for large corporate IT and recruitment businesses in management, recruitment and operational roles.
Alex joined Hatmill after working across a variety of roles in the grocery retail sector, from operations to consultancy. From 10 years working for Lidl, Alex has a proven record of delivering both operational and consultancy roles, including warehouse design and build, transition planning as well as leading large operational teams.
I knew Simon prior to becoming a member of the Hatmill team. I bring with me nearly 30 years’ experience gained in a high volume distribution business, Andrew Page Ltd, where I led IT and business systems, the last 10 years of which I was on the board.
After a short spell working alongside the team in a professional capacity during 2013 I officially joined the team. In 2001 I graduated from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and have since worked within the sector in a variety of roles.
I joined Hatmill at a point when the company had grown rapidly and it recognised its financial procedures and systems were becoming outdated. My immediate challenge was to migrate manual and excel based systems onto a Cloud Based Accounting Package that simplified and coordinated the efforts of a dispersed team.
I joined the Hatmill associate team in 2017, having consulted independently since 2002. I was previously part of the supply chain consulting teams at Deloitte and Accenture. I specialise in logistics – with projects covering everything from strategy, transport and warehousing solution design, automation, outsourcing, through to optimisation of existing operations.
I have worked with Hatmill over a period of years, rejoining the team in 2018.
During my 20+ year career I have worked in end to end supply chain management in industries including manufacturing, builders merchanting, retail, FMCG, third-party logistics and management consulting.
I joined Hatmill at the start of 2019. I have over fifteen years’ experience across the end to end customer supply chain and have worked in operational roles at Global FMCG businesses such as Mars UK & Molson Coors Brewing Company.
I specialise in business management, sales & operational planning, customer logistics and unlocking value through synergies in the supply chain.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 following over 10 years’ experience in transport and logistics, including time as a Transformation Programme Manager at Arriva, a major public transport operator.
I started my career at XPO Logistics on their Fast Track Talent Programme after gaining a degree in Business Studies at De Montfort University.
I have been working for Hatmill since 2018. I joined soon after graduating university where I attained a 1st-class degree in Mathematics. Since joining, my focus has predominantly been around systems development, modelling and general data analysis.
Over the course of my degree I spent time studying many different branches of mathematics, focussing mainly on the purer topics.
I joined Hatmill in 2019 after returning to the UK, having spent the previous five years working for the largest waste equipment provider in North America.
My last role was Director of Operations (Manufacturing) for Wastequip, who manufacture plastic and steel equipment. I had P&L ownership of all North America facilities and North America service unit.
I joined Hatmill in April 2020, following 12 years’ prior experience working in a supply chain capacity across the retail and distribution sectors.
My supply chain career started at Premier Farnell as an Asset Specialist and subsequently within projects and service improvement. I helped deliver a £2m margin improvement through the lowest cost geography project that optimised regional warehouses within the global supply chain.
I’ve worked in warehouse automation for over 15 years and support clients with the design and delivery of automated warehousing. I have worked in both the supplier and client space which means I have a good understanding of the technicalities to automation project design and delivery.
I joined Hatmill in December, 2019, after four decades working within the Logistics and Supply Chain profession. After considering potential opportunities, I concluded that Hatmill was the perfect option, where the values of the organisation, the self-managing structure, breadth of skills and experiences of the team and the range of clients provided just the right formula.
I joined Hatmill in January 2020 after gaining over 10 years experience in automation. Five of the years were within the area of logistics predominantly looking after projects on behalf of Asda.
My career started with numerous engineering design-based roles and I completed a graduate training scheme with a large telecoms company. I then moved into the field of automation, designing bespoke systems to perform lab-based tests of pharmaceutical products, mainly asthma inhalers.
I have been an employee at Hatmill since the beginning of 2020. Prior to joining, I worked as a business consultant for a small company in Leeds, implementing, embedding and managing continuous improvement projects. This experience, combined with my engineering background, gives me the ability to quickly understand and develop innovative solutions for clients.
I joined Hatmill in July 2020 after more than 10 years of experience in operational excellence, supply chain, process improvement, inventory management, warehouse improvement and sales operations working in the Oil & Gas and Heavy manufacturing industries.
I joined Hatmill in 2020 having spent the majority of my 30-year career working in third-party logistics with Ocean Group, Exel and DHL. During that time I have worked in Solution Design, Business Development and General Management roles across a broad range of industry sectors including FMCG, Utilities and Construction, Industrial and most recently Lifesciences and Healthcare.
